Orexian: As a derived word, it means something than can cause & satisfy a desire or appetite for an act. (Can relate to Orexis meaning “appetite” in Greek). Orexian is a word for objects that help cause (and satisfy) desires or appetites. Examples – like food satisfies hunger, cognitive activities satisfy desire to learn and enjoy.
Our purpose of Orexian Foundation is to make human life more engaging and involved. Orexian Foundation is a nonprofit organization and has 501 (c3) status with IRS.
Our vision is to enrich human life & the world by unifying the mind-body-spirit through the application of science & art.
Mission of the Orexian Foundation is to work with participants of all ages, culture, gender, and socio-economic background to explore science and develop skills to enable everyone to solve everyday problems using science.
Our Goal is to develop systems thinking in kids at an early age through hands-on focused work.
The future goal for the organization is to venture into ideas of product development for a social cause with the goal of making it available for basic use on a not-for-profit basis.
